Created by Aoi Huber. Aoi was born in 1936 in Tokyo. In 1960, she graduated from the Department of Design at Tokyo University of the Arts (currently the Department of Design at Tokyo University of the Arts). In the same year, she studied abroad at Stockholm National Vocational School of Crafts. In 1962 she moved to Milan. She worked in Max Huber's studio, where she mainly did illustration work. Since 1970 she moved the base of her activities to southern Switzerland. To date, she has produced etchings, picture books, toys, etc., and has held numerous solo and group exhibitions in Japan, Switzerland, Italy, etc. Her ``ERA INVERNO'' was published by an Italian publisher in 1972, and a reprint was published in 2004, and has been translated into six languages to date. (Japanese version "Fuyu") In February 2016, she published "Aiade" from Anonyma Studio. She continues to create new works.
